Myofascial Release

Patient, sustained holds that release restricted fascia — our slowest, most profound bodywork.

What it is

A very unique type of bodywork focused on the fascial system — the three-dimensional network that surrounds and interconnects every muscle, bone, organ and nerve. Fascia becomes restricted over time through trauma, inflammation, poor posture or repetitive movement, and generally takes 90 to 120 seconds to begin releasing, making this the slowest and most profound work we offer. You stay clothed (athletic shorts and a sports bra, or a loose T-shirt), no oil is used, and specific areas are often targeted. Our therapists are passionate about this work.
